oh Brooke

Was re-reading parts of One Piece. Decided to reread the chapters containing Brooke when the Strawhats first meet him, and.. essentially the entire Thriller Bark arc, up to the end... When he remembered his past with the Rhumbar Pirates, and Laboon.. I teared up. I didn't even tear up the first time I read through this... Just... Ow. And after he becomes one of the Strawhats, there's the whole situation at Shabondy, about 2 weeks later in the OP world, and then.. seperation from his new comrades, after he spent decades alone on a drifting hulk of a ghost ship... Just, ouch.
