Good new for me: the modder doing Dig Deeper updated his mod for the latest DF version.

Not so good news: I'd have to spend a fair amount of time checking to merge Dig Deeper with the Flora Fauna mod the way I want, because I'm actually missing the sheer variety of flora and fauna that mod put in in terms of plants and animals above and underground.

Just saw off a nice little siege with a squad of hammergobs and one of.. macegobs.. or something like that, with a dash of a squad of trolls ... Entrance hall to Budbolts, which is beginning to take shape as a Weisshaupt style fortress, is now painted all sorts of lurid colours of bodily fluids. Vomit, goblin blood, troll blood in a bright aqua, dwarf blood.... I may need to turn temperature back on just to have pools of water which are not frozen. As additional water beside the wells I'm maintaining with dfhack... On that note, I definitely need more burial spaces.. By the time this project's done....

proceeding apace. Am ignoring the mayor's request for nicer dwellings to focus on finishing the outer wall. Which, in line with my whimsy, is largely constructed out of limestone blocks. 'Weiss'haupt fortress, after all. White stones have to be in there somewhere.
